We are not affected by the severe flooding on the Ahr with our campsite. The Moselle came out of its riverbed for a short time and is back again. We look forward to your visit.

We are a family-friendly campsite. Even parents of 3 great children, we are happy about all guests with children who want to spend the most beautiful time of the year in the beautiful Endert Valley.

Camping Schausten is a family business for over 60 years! The place was founded by the grandparents Schausten in 1957 as the first campground ever in Cochem on the Moselle. Martha and Paul Reif then went on to operate for over 20 years. Almost 20 years ago, we took the place of Martha Reif. We are now the third generation running the place. The work and the interaction with our guests give us a lot of pleasure! No matter if you want to stay in a tent, caravan, mobile home or in one of our newly built apartments.

Schausten campsite is the ideal starting point for hikes in the beautiful countryside around Cochem. Just 125m up to the Pinner cross with a uniquely breathtaking view over Cochem and the Moselle valley. Only 500 metres further on from here you will find the game park Klotti, a paradise for children. The town of Cochem offers much variety and numerous sights of interest. The historical Endert gateway and the old town of Cochem are just a 800m walk away.

For our little guests (up to 12 years) is a bouncy castle in our place. When the weather is nice you will be puffed up and all parents are invited to come over with their children. Children jump and parents try our delicious hops - Mann Pils. By the way, we only have it here. See you!
